Lesley Michaels: A Mighty Woman

Today, on the heals of my recent special 2-part series with Amy Lynn Durham, in which I read from my chapter, Anger and The Reluctant Leader from the #1 Best-selling book, On The Shoulders of Mighty Women by Lesley Michaels, I am re-releasing my episode from June 2022 that featured Lesley.

On The Shoulder of Mighty Women had just been released, and Lesley and I spoke about her unique life journey, the powerful women upon whose shoulders she stood, and her call to Feminism and Womens Empowerment.

We touched on...

* Her 1st strategic alliance with her paternal grandmother.

* Her story of moving to NYC at 16 years old and being mentored by many different types of women.

* Her journey into the good old boy world of Corporate Oil.

* The 5 women who “taught her Life” as only women can do.

* Lesley’s mentorship + leadership advice

* All this, and so much more...join us.

Lesley Michaels passed away unexpectedly in May of 2023. This episode is a Celebration of Life, Achievements, and Friendship.

Lesley Michaels was born to feminism. Her foundational ethos was shaped by her audacious paternal grandmother who was a 1st wave feminist and savvy businesswoman.

Lesley has mentored Fortune 500 C-Suite executives, individuals within the financially privileged sector, and celebrities.

On The Shoulders of Mighty Women is a tribute to the power and grace of those women who came before and the ones who will follow, the warriors and the fallen.

Lesley hosted the weekly podcast; Women We Should Know, which you can find on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@womenwesh ouldknowpodcast8994

Rest in peace, my dearest warrior.
